Willard Neal May

Mr. Willard Neal May, age 75, of Mt. Airy, NC, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020, at Forsyth Medical Center.  He was born December 24, 1944, in Alamance County to the late Arlie and Isabelle Tingen May.  Mr. May worked with Homeway Furniture for over 33 years and was a member of Glory Light Baptist Church.  Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Shirley Edmonds May; sisters and brother-in-law, Martha Clarke, Patsy Porter, Lois and Gene Crawford, Daisy Lincoln; brother, Arlie C. May, Jr.; special niece, Michele Wilmoth; special nephew, Jason Wilmoth and several other nieces and nephews.  Respecting the current limitations of numbers for public gatherings at this time (COVID-19), a graveside services will be held on Friday, November 27, 2020, at 2:00 pm in the cemetery of Glory Light Baptist Church.  His body will lie in state in the church for one hour beginning at 1:00 pm until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Glory Light Baptist Church, 149 Glory Light Church Lane, Siloam, NC 27047 for Shirley May.  Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson in serving the May family.
