Mr. William “Bug” Tatum Penn, age 84 of Stuart, Virginia went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 24, 2024, at his home. He was born in Patrick County on September 10, 1939, to the late William Henry Penn and Alberta Tatum King. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Mae Thomas and Rebecca France. “Bug” was of the Christian faith and faithfully read his Bible daily. He will be remembered for his humble nature, love of walking, and willingness to share with others and help everyone.
Left to cherish the memories of Mr. Penn are one sister, Lillian King and husband, Richard; one brother, Robert Penn, special niece, Virginia Marlene Thomas; special great-niece, Jessica Thomas; caregivers, Jennifer Crouse, Jenai Penn, and Crystal Watson; and a great host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A graveside service for Mr. Penn will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Tatum Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church with Pastor Leander Reynolds officiating.
