William Darrin McRae Coleman

Mr. William Darrin McRae Coleman, age 52, of Mount Airy passed away at his residence on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. Mr. Coleman was born in Surry County on June 28, 1972, to the late Curtis Coleman and Phyllis Vernell Hill Coleman. He was a man of many traits, he’ll be deeply missed by all who knew him. Mr. Coleman is survived by his sons, Curtis Damon McRae Coleman, Cory Coleman; sisters, Karen Midkiff, Kasonya Coleman. In addition to his parents, Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by his brothers, Kevin Coleman, Duane Coleman. The family will hold a celebration of Mr. Coleman’s life on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Welcome Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Edwards and Rev. Blake Bowman officiating. There will not be any formal visitation at this time. Moody’s of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Coleman family.
