William Eugene Combs

Mr. William Eugene Combs age 52 of 235 Lakeview Drive, Cana, VA, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2007 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Combs was born in Forsyth County on January 13, 1955 son of Edith Hawks Combs and the late David Combs and was employed at B&R Masonry. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Rebekah and Christopher Frye of Lambsburg and Renae and Randy Combs of Cana; one son, David Combs of Mount Airy; six grandchildren, Isaiah Frye, Hannah Frye, Joshua Frye, Katelyn Frye, Blake Combs and April Combs; his mother, Edith Hawks Combs of Cana; one sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Edgar Tate of Mount Airy and four brothers and sisters-in-law, Daniel and Paige Combs, Richard and Gail Combs and Sammy and Angie Combs and Dwight and Tina Combs all of Cana and one special uncle, Johnny and Geraldine Combs of Cana. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Combs Family Cemetery. The service will be conducted by Rev. Marlie Hawks.
