William Edward "Eddie" East, Jr

Mr. William Edward “Eddie” East, Jr. 61, of Mt. Airy passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. He was born in Forsyth County on February 6, 1955 to William Edward East, Sr., and the late Nonnie Bunker East. Mr. East was an Industrial Electrician and was a member of Rockford Street United Methodist Church. He proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Ann Wolfe East, of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and Javier Luna of Sparta, Amie and Josh Warner of Kernersville, Alysia and Christopher Mehr of Kingsland, GA; a son, Shane East and fiancée Tana Easter of Mt. Airy; nine grandchildren; his father, William Edward East, Sr. of Mt. Airy. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral home Chapel with the Rev. Harry Sherrill officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:30 until time for the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
