William Craig Griffith

Mr. William Craig Griffith age 55 of 148 Vine Street, Mount Airy, passed away at Forsyth Medical Center on Tuesday September 4, 2007. Mr. Griffith was born in Surry County on June 30, 1952 son of Jack William Griffith and Loretta Journey Griffith Booker, was a veteran of the US Army and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are a son, Brad Burton of Roanoke; a step-son, Chris Thomas of Mount Airy; two grandchildren, Lynzie Thomas of Mount Airy and Levie Burton of Florida; his mother, Loretta Journey Booker of Mount Airy and his father, Jack William Griffith of Asheboro. Graveside services will be held on Friday September 7, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Skyline Memory Gardens. The service will be conducted by Rev. David Heath. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home on Friday 12:30 PM until time for Mr. Griffith to be taken to the cemetery for the graveside service.
