William "Bill" Hamm

Mr. Bill Hamm, age 80 of Claudville, husband of Ilene Pack Hamm, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at his home. Mr. Hamm was born in Patrick County, November 4, 1925 to Oliver and Emily Hamm. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Surviving is his devoted wife, Ilene Hamm of the home; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Buford Hamm and Bobby and Gilda Hamm all of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Robby Hamm, Steven Hamm, Christopher Hamm and Tiffany Hamm; a great granddaughter, Skylar Hamm; brothers and sisters-in-law, Junior and Lucille Hamm; Odell Hamm; Leonard and Margaret Hamm; Josie Hamm and Tincy Hamm. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hamm was preceded in death by sisters, Minnie Roberts, Lura Goad and Lena Hamm and by brothers, Clyde Hamm and Fred Hamm. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 29, 2006 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Alfred Hilton. Burial will follow in the Hamm Family cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 7:00 to 9:00 at the funeral home.
