William Clarence "C.H. Hooker

Mr. William Clarence “C.H.” Hooker, age 62, of Thurmond, NC passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, in Guilford County, NC.  He was born to the late William Junior Hooker and the late Nellie Mae Murphy Hooker.

He worked for Kimsey Mechanical for thirty years. Was a former Master Mason for the Elkin Chapter 454, and also a former president of Elkin-Jonesville Shrine Club. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing golf and cooking for all.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Bobbie Jean Hooker; and a brother Gerald Wayne Hooker.  Surviving is his four sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara, and Kelly Wood, Diane, and Mark Darnell,  Sue and Alan Boyd, Donna and Rocky Sellers; two brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Carolyn Hooker, Robert and Kim Hooker; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews.  A funeral service will be held Saturday 3:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Home with Myron Holbrook conducting the services, burial will follow in the Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic rites by the Elkin Shriner’s Club. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Home, in Dobson, NC.
