William Anthony King, Jr

Mr. William Anthony "Bill" King, Jr., 84, of Mount Airy, passed away Friday, May 7, 2010, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mr. King was born April 8, 1926, in Surry County, to the late William Anthony King, Sr. and Lillie Childress King. He retired from Moody Funeral Services and was a member of Grace Moravian Church. Mr. King is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Dawn L. and Dennis Mancinelli of Stroudsburg, PA, and Denise King of Cana, VA; two sons, Ted King of Roanoke, VA, and Ken King of Mount Airy; three grandchildren, Angela Fulton, Allison Wehrkamp, and Anthony King; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. In addition to his parents, Mr. King was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Tilley King. A private service will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Grace Moravian Church, 1401 North Main Street, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
