William Jefferson Lowe

Mr. William Jefferson Lowe, age 68, of Lowgap, NC passed away at his home on Saturday, September 17, 2022. He was born in Surry County on September 23, 1953, to Hallie Rachel Brannock Lowe and to the late Porter Lowe. He was retired from North Carolina DOT. After retirement he worked for Surry County at the Land Fill as a heavy equipment operator. He is survived by his mother Hallie Rachel Brannock Lowe; brothers and sisters-in-law, Virgil Lowe his identical twin, David Porter and Sharon Lowe, Dennie and Carla Lowe, Daniel Lowe, Jimmy Lowe; two nieces, Vanessa Lowe, Farrah Lowe; five nephews, Adam Lowe, Jake Lowe, Zackery Lowe, Tanner Lowe, Josiah Lowe; one great-nephew and two great-nieces, Porter Cole Lowe, Emarie Grace Lowe, Vera Ann Lowe. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 20, 2022, in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Roaring Gap Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Joe Atkins will officiate the services. The family will receive friends one hour before the services at the funeral home. Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson, NC is serving the Lowe family.
