William Victor "Bill" McMickle

Mr. William Victor "Bill" McMickle, Sr., age 72 of Walkertown passed away Monday, September 1, 2008 at Oak Forest Health and Rehab Center in Winston Salem, NC. Mr. McMickle was born on October 11, 1935 in Surry County to the late Grover Worrell and Trusty Hawks McMickle. He worked with Brewer Paint Company before retiring. He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, William "Bill" McMickle, Jr. of Walkertown, NC, Richard Curtis and Susan McMickle of Fuquay Varina, NC; grandchildren, Taylor McMickle and Paige McMickle both of Walkertown, NC; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Grady Kiser of King, NC. In addition to his parents, Mr. McMickle was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Fletcher McMickle; a daughter, Sandra Jean McMickle and a step son, Jimmy Fletcher. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Friday, September 5, 2008 at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 4, 2008 from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
