William "Bill" Grayson Mills, Sr

Mr. William “Bill” Grayson Mills, Sr., 62, of Pilot Mountain passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born in Raleigh County, WV on August 13, 1955 to the late Shirley Grayson Mills and Leona Mae Anderson Shrewsbury. Mr. Mills was employed by the City of Mt. Airy, and was a member of Mount Airy Church of God. He is survived by his loving wife, Revonda “Rhonda” Campbell Mills; a daughter and son-in-law, Krystal Star Jones and Kevin; a son William Grayson Mills, Jr.; grandchildren, Kaleb Grayson Jones, and Kynsley Grace Jones; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara Benedict and Mike, Patricia “Patty” Adkins and Eldon, Gloria Jean Hill and William, Dianell Pack and Ronald; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Mills was preceded in death by brothers, Gary Ray Mills, and Dwayne Eddie Mills. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Mount Airy Church of God with the Rev. Charles Powers officiating. Burial will follow in Pilot Mountain City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 PM until time for the service at the church.
