William Robert Quesinberry, Jr

Mr. William Robert "W.R." Quesinberry, Jr., 67, of 127 High Ridge Road, Mount Airy, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2010, at his home. He was born June 13, 1943, in Surry County, to the late William Robert Quesinberry, Sr. and Victoria Elizabeth Leftwich Quesinberry. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Vietnam War, and was a member of the St. Paul Church of the Brethren. Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Haynes Quesinberry of the home; a son and his fiancé, Robert Alan Quesinberry and Dorlisa Abels of Charlotte; his mother-in-law, Georgia Boyd Haynes of Mount Airy; sisters-in-law and their husbands, Betty and Troy Hodges, Ruth and Sammy Goins, and Katherine Sawyers, all of Mount Airy; and brothers-in-law and their wives, Lonnie Haynes, Pete and Gloria Jean Haynes, and Richard and Linda Haynes, all of Mount Airy. The funeral service will be held Sunday, July 4, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Donnie Holyfield and the Rev. Tommy Kingsbury officiating. Burial will follow in The Peoples Church Cemetery, with full military honors by the American Legion Honor Guard. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
