William Edward "Willie" Richardson

Mr. William Edward "Willie" Richardson, age 54, of Mt. Airy, NC died on Monday unexpectedly in Ashe County, NC. He was born in Forsyth County on July 2, 1957 to the late William Penn Richardson and to Gladys Ray Spainhour "Dolly" Richardson. Willie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of LDS, Mt. Airy Ward. He was a General Manager for Wendy's. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother Carl Edwards and a sister NeVada Hiatt; a brother-in-law Lewis Cox. Surviving are his wonderful and loving wife Susan Worrell Richardson of the home; daughter and son-in-law Alicia and Jackie Frost of Houston Texas; three sons William Adam Richardson and girlfriend Kristen Parker of Mt. Airy, Lance Edward Richardson and girlfriend Brittany Gordon of Mt. Airy, and Garrett Daniel Richardson of the home; two granddaughters Maylee Marie Smith, and Brianna Lynn Frost; his mother Gladys "Dolly" Richardson of Pilot Mountain and mother-in-law Betty Gentry of Mount Airy, sisters and brothers-in-laws Peggy Cox of Pilot Mountain, Becky and Jack Barber of Dobson, Wanda and Tad Vogler of Westfield, Carolyn Parker of Pinnacle, and Frances and Junior Hicks of Siloam; one brother and sister-in-law Calvin and Glenda Edwards of Kernersville. Willie, will always be our "sweet angel". The family will receive friends at The Church of Jesus Christ of LDS Mount Airy Ward on Saturday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. There will be no formal services held at the Funeral Home. Moody-Davis is serving the Richardson family.
