Willie Joe Branch

Willie Joe Branch, 71, of Elkin, North Carolina passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024. Born February 14, 1953, to the late Willie John and Myrtle Adams Branch. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Peggy Keiler and Joe. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Jason Branch and Sparrah, Jimmy Branch and Crystal, and Johnny Branch; grandchildren, Karson Branch, Eric Branch, Landon Branch, Caydon Rogers, Leah Arnder and Blake, and Lane Branch; great-grandchildren, Kingsley Rogers, Kohen Rogers, and Santiago Branch; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nora O’Neil and Roger, Elaine Bowman, Debbie Branch, Vera Dancy, and Sue Douglas and Jim; brothers and sisters-in-law, Avery Branch and Kathy, and Bill Branch and Kathy; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Avery Branch officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service, from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow in the Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, PO Box 315, Dobson NC 27017, or to Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church, C/O Bill Branch, 1025 Pratt Road, Ararat NC 27007.
