Willis Jack Wall

Mr. Willis Jack Wall, 83 of Mount Airy passed away at Forsyth Medical Center on Saturday, January 22, 2022, in Winston-Salem. Mr. Wall was born on March 31, 1938, in Surry County to the late Roby and Agnes Edwards Wall. Willis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all that knew him. He was a lifelong member of the Lighthouse Community Church that he loved. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife Margaret Jones Wall, who was blessed to be by his side for 50 years; two sons and daughter-in-law, Travis Wall, Keith Fowler and wife Carolyn; two grandson, Jamie Fowler, Jason Fowler; one great-grandson, Kamden Fowler; two sisters, Jane Vogler, Eva Vogler, his special fur baby, Tyler; and along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wall was preceded in death by five sisters; Effie Wall Vogler, Vicie Wall McHone, Irene Wall Johnson, Thelma Wall Simpson, Ila Wall Key; and one brother, James Wall. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at 2:00 PM at People’s Church Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Easter officiating. Masonic rights conducted by the Ararat Masonic Lodge AF&AM # 558. No formal visitation will be held at this time. The family would like to extend a special thanks the staff of Universal Health Care in King and the Acute Palliative Care Unit at Forsyth Medical Center.
