Wilma Mae Dalton Arnder

Mrs. Wilma Mae Dalton Arnder, 88, of Dobson, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mrs. Arnder was born October 23, 1929, in Pulaski, VA, to the late Charles Alfred and Macy Ellen Horton Dalton. She retired from Wayne Farms and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters and sons-in-law; Linda and William Crouse, Sandra and Mike Nester, Pamela and Jerry Snow, and Vicky Shelton; a son, Michael Arnder; twelve grandchildren; seven sisters, Mary Elkins, Lois Dalton, Reva Pierce, Betty lane, Connie Lamb, Tina Abbott, and Gloria Bowman; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, James and Denise Easter, Ed and Ann Easter, Russell Easter, and Bucky Dalton. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dalton was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Arnder; along with several brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held Monday, March 26, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
