Wilma Shinault Marion

Mrs. Wilma Shinault Marion, 74, of 3027 Quaker Church Road, Pinnacle, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2007, at her home. Mrs. Marion was born May 5, 1933, in Surry County, to the late Boson and Pearl Hawks Shinault. She was a homemaker and a member of the Quaker faith. She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Marion of the home; two grandchildren and a spouse, Wendy Morgan and Buddy and Molly Snow, all of Pinnacle; and five sisters and two brothers-in-law, Violet Mitchell and Mabel and Paul Beck, all of Winston-Salem, and Ruby Shinault, Faith Shinault, and Bonnie and Bob Rowinsky, all of Mount Airy. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Marion was preceded in death by her husband, Hassell Ray Marion; four sisters, Betty Kiger, Beatrice Wall, Mary Ray, and Evelyn Shinault; and three brothers, Daniel Shinault, Rufus Shinault, and Ted Shinault. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. The service will be conducted by Brother Don Collins and the Rev. Jerry Pardue, and burial will follow at Pine Hill Friends Meeting Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
