Wilma Grey Dixon Roberson

Mrs. Wilma Dixon Roberson, 90, of Mt. Airy passed away at Northern Regional Hospital Saturday, March 5, 2022.  She was born in Ashe County, NC, January 3, 1932, to the late John Smith Dixon and Kate Margaret Spencer Dixon.  She was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church, being very involved in various activities during the many years she attended.  She is survived by her daughter Martha Roberson of Atlanta, GA, her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Kathleen Roberson of Greenville, SC; granddaughter, Taylor Tiscareno and husband Alonso and great grandchildren, Adelaide and Caroline; grandson Tanner Roberson; loving friend and care giver, Annette Simmons.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Roberson was preceded in death by her husband Graham Roberson; and brother Joe Thomas Dixon.  A funeral service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 314 S. Franklin Rd., Mt. Airy, NC, Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 3:00 PM with Rev. Alex Martin officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church Thursday, from 1:00 PM until the time of the service and again immediately following the service.  A graveside service will be held at Ashelawn Memorial Gardens, 3470 US 221, Crumpler, NC, on Friday, March 11, 2022, at 11:00 AM.  The family will receive friends following the interment.  In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions to Calvary Baptist Church, 314 S.
