Winfred Dale Hill

Mr. Winfred Dale Hill, 62, of Sparta, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at Sunbridge Nursing Center in Sparta. Mr. Hill was born April 28, 1946, in Surry County, to the late Lloyd Lee and Reba Frances Wood Hill. Surviving are a sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Verlin Hawks of Mount Airy; a brother, Preston E. Hill of Pilot Mountain; and a niece, Cyndi Lineberry. The funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, October 9, 2008, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Jimmy Slate and the Rev. Keith Love, and burial will follow in the Hills Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday at the funeral home from 1:00 until the time of the service, and other times at the home of Norma and Verlin Hawks, 168 Belair Drive, Mount Airy.
