Yancey Willis Bond

Mr. Yancey Willis Bond, 47, of Ararat, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at his home.  He was born in Surry County on September 16, 1973, to the late Donnis Dempsey Bond and Mary Angeleen Bowman Turney.  Mr. Bond was employed at Wayne Farms.  He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Nathan and Karen Bond; a brother and sister-in-law, Michael Shane and Amanda Bond; a nephew, Brandon Bond and wife, Lauren; special uncle, Lacy Buck Bond and wife Patricia; aunts, Gaynell Lewis and husband Johnny, Charlotte Campbell, Lillie Mae Haynes, and Frances Norman; special cousins, Luther Bond, Teresa Bond, Kim Lewis, and Kevin Lewis, along with several others.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Bond was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lacy and Mamie Bond, and Willis and Etheleen Bowman.  All services will be private.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
