Yolanda De La Rosa Reyes

Mrs. Yolanda De La Rosa Reyes, age 57 of Mayodan, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.  Mrs. De La Rosa was born on November 2, 1964, in Mexico to Alfredo De La Rosa Serna and Noemi Marroquin.  Mrs. De La Rosa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She was a giving, free-spirited, and young at heart. Yolanda was always giving to others, not expecting anything in return and was always there for everyone else. She was an accomplice in every adventure  “Though she be little, she is fierce”.  Mrs. De La Rosa will be deeply missed by all that knew her.  Left to cherish her memories is her husband, Arnulfo Angeles; one daughter, Nohemi Adrianna Reyes; three sons and daughters-in-law, Gilbert Reyes, Jr. and Amanda, Jason Santos and Skye, Randy Lee Reyes and Vanessa; eight grandchildren, Kierstan Crouse, Arabella Chantelle Reyes, Jaxden Xander Lee Reyes, Davin Crouse, Elliana Faith Reyes, Sophia Perez, Raiden Jasper Reyes, Giovanni Lee Reyes; two sisters S. Yadira D’ Chavez, Adela S. Hernandez, two half-siblings, Consuelo Serna, Francisco Serna; and two brothers, Jose A. De La Rosa, Luis F. De La Rosa.  Mrs. De La Rosa was preceded in death by her parents.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022, beginning at 8:00 AM at Iglesia Pentecostal Cristo Viene Church in Mount Airy with Pastor Antonio Hernandez officiating.  Burial to follow at Second Change Church Cemetery in Dobson at 10:00 AM.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 19, 2022, from 6:00 PM until the time of the service the following morning, at Iglesia Pentecostal Cristo Viene Church.  Yolanda’s favorite quote, “ Creo en un Dios Vivo”.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
