Zelma Allen Midkiff

Mrs. Zelma Allen Midkiff, 87, of Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at her home. Mrs. Midkiff was born June 4, 1922, in Patrick County, VA, to Jasper and Ella Mae Cloud. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Gale Marion of Mount Airy; a granddaughter, Shana Reneger and her husband, Chris; three great-grandchildren, Dylan Renegar, Tanner Renegar, and Austin Renegar; a sister, Ruth Hall of Boonville; and a special friend, Doris Bledsoe. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 30, 2010, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Mark Sumner officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
