Mrs. Haynes' home was always filled with love and memories of many family meals together. Until 2005, her home was the gathering place for holidays and special occasions. Mrs. Haynes is survived by a large family, including her daughters, Yvonne Hodges and son-in-law, Vernon, of Elkin, and Charlene Price and son-in-law, Charlie, of Asheville; a son, Tommy Haynes and daughter-in-law, Karen, of State Road; grandchildren, Jane Hodges Wyatt of Elkin, Janice Hodges Lewis of Huntersville, Jason Hodges of Millersville, MD, Charla Price Muller of Charlotte, Charles Price, III of Charlotte, Meredith Haynes McGurn of Raleigh, and Amanda Haynes McGovern of Pittsboro; twelve great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
